An evaluation of the effectiveness of training for prison-based treatment centers in Hanoi and surrounding provinces in the north and Ho Chi Minh City and surrounding provinces in the south examined changes in the content of treatment center activities, increases in staff knowledge and confidence, and changes in the frequency and severity of drug use among residents.
